CONDITIONS OF PLAY
1.R.C.G.A.
RULES OF GOLF AND B.C.G.A. CODE OF CONDUCT in
effect.
a.
A NOTICE OF WITH-DRAWL FORM must
be completed to withdraw from Tournament.
Failure to comply may result in disqualification
the following year.
b.
Rule 3 - 3 if in doubt of your rights,
play a second ball. But first, tell your fellow
competitors of your decision and identify which
ball you will score with if the rules permit.
Report fact to committee before returning
scorecard.

3.
Scoring:
The tear-off section (markers score) must be
properly completed before the score-card will be
accepted by the scoring personnel. Gross and
net for 18 holes, all cards shall be legible,
signed and countersigned before being posted. On
completion of your game each day, report to the
scoring table without delay, and wait until your
card has been verified correct.

Following the round all players are to
proceed immediately to the scoring table. We
will have a BCGA official to collect and
verify all scores, no one is to leave the
table until all cards are signed and
verified by the entire group.

A BCGA official will be conducting random
verifications of your handicap cards. They
will be checking the RCGA web site or
calling individual clubs. We are looking
that ALL your scores are posted and updated,
if they are not you may be subject to
disqualification.

A BCGA official will be verifying all
handicaps of gross and net event winners to
ensure they are current with all scores
being posted, if they are not you may be
subject to disqualification.

If your handicap card is out of date or
cannot be produced the day of the tournament
at registration, you will be ineligible for
any net prizes.
4.
Decision of ties:
a.
In
event of a tie for the following positions; the
winner shall be decided by a play-off, hole by
hole (sudden victory) until the tie is broken
starting at No.1 hole. In event of insufficient
day-light a play-off will be scheduled by the
chair.
b.
All
other ties shall be determined by RETROGRESSION
in accordance with Appendix 1(c) of the R.C.G.A.
RULES OF GOLF. By matching cards to determine
the winner on the basis of the best score for
the last nine holes of day two. If still tied,
on the basis of the best score for the last six
holes, last three holes, and finally the last
hole. If still tied, the second to last hole
etc.
5.
There
are RULES OFFICIALS on the course, please consult
them if you are in doubt.
6.
Slow
Play Penalty:
First offense - one stroke, second offense - two
strokes, third is disqualification.
Please respect the
golf course, members, staff, and owners, Replace
divots, repair ball Marks, place pop cans, paper
wrappers etc. in the trash containers provided.
