The Junior Buttons are contested throughout the winter months and involve
zone 5 golf clubs that wish to participate. Each team consists of two players.
The team that holds the buttons continues to play each week, and is challenged
by each club in rotation until they are defeated. Matches are played on Sundays
and the winning team has the responsibility of reporting the results to the
coordinator. It is the responsibility of the Buttons holders to ensure that
the Buttons are on hand and available for handing over to the winning club
to be retained until they are defeated.
