The mission of the Zone 5 Men's Executive Committee is to promote golf
among the clubs of Southern Vancouver Island and preserve
the rich traditions this area has produced over the past 100
years.
The Committee runs the following events:
- CHEK
Vancouver Island Open,
-
The Willie Park, Harry Young, Junior and Senior Interclubs,
-
The City Open Buttons as well as the Junior and Senior Buttons,
-
Numerous Junior events, such as the Frank Wakeham, Leo
Derman and James Petterson Memorial tournaments,
-
Rules seminars,
-
Junior Player Development seminars, and
-
The Junior, Amateur and Senior
Zone Championships.
